Bright Healing Services (BHS) was established to provide behavior therapy to children with autism and other neurological and developmental disorders. My son was diagnosed with autism when I was pursuing a Masters in Mental Health Counseling in 2012. I understand firsthand the difficulties of raising a child with autism and the importance of having a knowledgeable and compassionate team on your side. In 2018, I decided to pursue a Masters in Education with a Foundation in Behavior Analysis. Shortly after, I became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. BHS not only offers evidence-based treatment but also provides compassion and personal experience from that of a special needs parent. Our goal at BHS is to collaborate as a team to improve the lives of those we serve. Together we can create a brighter future.
I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth and transformation, and it's my privilege to accompany them on their journey and help brighten their lives one day at a time. With my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology promptly followed by the completion of my Master of Science in Counseling, I've dedicated myself to helping individuals unlock their full potential and strengths to live their best lives. Becoming a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) in 2020 was just the beginning of my journey. In 2021, I achieved my goal of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), driven by my unwavering belief in the power of ability and compassion.
At Bright Healing Services, I specialize in behavior analysis, offering personalized support and evidence-based treatment to help clients overcome challenges and embrace their strengths. My approach is pragmatic, empathetic, and always focused on providing a safe space for growth. My goal is to create meaningful change in the world through my work as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
With a profound passion for understanding and nurturing children’s behavior, I embarked on my journey in Early Childhood Education, earning my degree in 2017. As I delved into teaching within Head Start programs, I realized my desire to provide more comprehensive support to children in the field of Behavior Analysis, where I could offer tailored assistance to children and their families facing unique challenges.
Now serving as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) at Bright Healing Services, I bring both my academic expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and my personal experience as a mother of a child with special needs to the table. By integrating theoretical knowledge with practical insights, I strive to empower children with special needs to reach their full potential while supporting their families on their journey toward healing and growth.
